Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Photos you upload. We convert each photo to a standard image format, which also removes embedded photo metadata such as camera details or location. The original file is deleted once the converted copy is saved.
  • The video created from your photos.
  • An anonymous session cookie. It is a random token that links your browser to your drafts, videos and credits. It lasts 30 days. We do not ask for your name or email to use the service.
  • Payment records. When you pay, Stripe handles your card details. We receive the payment status, amount, currency and Stripe reference numbers, but never your full card number.
  • Basic product events, such as “photo uploaded” or “video downloaded”, linked to your anonymous session. These events never contain photos, video links or email addresses.
  • Usage analytics from Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the product events above. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell visits apart.
  • Technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as request logs and error codes.
  • Anything you send us if you contact support, such as your email address and message.

How we use it

  • To create, store and deliver your video.
  • To process payments, add and use credits, and return credits when a generation fails.
  • To prevent abuse, enforce our Acceptable Use Policy and keep the service secure.
  • To understand, in aggregate, where people get stuck so we can improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or videos for advertising or to train AI models.

Who processes your data

To make your video, we send your two photos and fixed scene instructions to our AI video provider, Kie. Kie processes the photos to generate the video. Kie has its own terms and its own data retention rules, which we do not control, so our deletion times below apply to our own storage only.

Stripe processes payments under its own privacy policy. Google processes website usage data for us through Google Analytics, under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We link Google Analytics events to a random video ID only, never to your photos, video files or email address. We also use infrastructure providers to host the website, the database and private file storage. They process data on our behalf to run the service.

How long we keep things

  • Uploaded photos: deleted within 24 hours after your video finishes, fails or is blocked.
  • Unused drafts and abandoned uploads: deleted within 24 hours after they are created.
  • Finished videos: deleted 7 days after they are ready.
  • Session cookie: expires after 30 days.
  • Google Analytics cookies: expire after up to 2 years. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, up to 14 months.
  • Payment and credit records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and legal reasons.

Private by default

Your photos and videos are never published on this site. A video page or download link only works in the browser session that created it, so sending the link to someone else does not give them access. If you want to share your video, download the file and share that.

Your choices

  • You can avoid creating a session cookie by not uploading photos. The cookie is needed for the generator to work.
  • You can block Google Analytics with your browser’s privacy settings, a content blocker, or Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The generator still works when analytics is blocked.
  • You can clear the cookie at any time in your browser settings. After that, you will not be able to reopen earlier drafts or videos from this site.
  • You can contact us to ask about the personal data we hold or to ask us to delete it sooner. Because there is no account, we may need details such as your video page address to find it.

Children

This service is not directed at children, and our Acceptable Use Policy does not allow photos of anyone under 18.

Security and changes

Photos and videos are kept in private storage and are only served to the session that owns them. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and how long we keep it. We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
